Flat Tile & Tile Relief Workshop May 5 – 9, 2025
In this Tile Workshop, on days 1 and 2 we will work to glaze flat terracotta, porcelain, and stoneware tiles and pop them in the kiln for a 05 glaze fire. While we wait for the kiln to do its madness, days 3, 4, and 5 will be dedicated to creating a small sculptural relief tile in Stoneware Paperclay. You will learn my unique all-in-one technique — building, under-glazing, and glazing for a single cone 6 fire. Taught by Mary Susan Cate.
